Colombia national team received the award for the Fifa Fair Play (Fair Play)-Brazil World Cup 2014, a distinction given to the team with the best disciplinary record in the tournament.
Colombia was chosen thanks to past the first round of the World Cup for only the teams agreed to it were candidates to win the award.
Selection Colombia received only five yellow cards in the tournament, in the five games played since Jose Pekerman's team was eliminated in the quarterfinals. In addition, no Colombian player received a red card.
